We talk a lot about how social media, especially Facebook, provides interesting (and sometimes even relevant) evidence for family law cases. But as a practical matter, how does one go about sending a Subpoena to Facebook? I found this post about the actual process, which will hopefully be helpful:

Also consider starting with litigation support services. A quick Google search for Phoenix showed at least two litigation support services that emphasize electronic discovery and extraction of digital data. I personally would start with this type of service to expedite my requests to Facebook or a similar media source, knowing that I will be responsible for obtaining the local or out-of-state subpoena that will likely be necessary.
