ADR/ Alternatives to Going to Court

ADR is a term thrown around by attorneys and others in divorce and other court cases.   ADR stands for Alternative Dispute Resolution, which is a phrase that collectively refers to anything that can be done to resolve a case without going in front of a judge.  The most common ADR processes in Arizona include mediation (either through court or done outside of the court system), arbitration, the appointment of a Special Master, or the appointment of a Parenting Coordinator.
