Family Court judicial rotations will become effective June 27, 2011 as follows.
Downtown: Judge Peter Reinstein’s calendar will be taken by Judge Burke who is retiring, so the spot will be filled by the judge who replaces Judge Burke. Judge Robert Miles’ calendar will be taken by Judge Chris Whitten. Judge Edward Bassett’s calendar will be taken by Judge Sam Myers.
Northwest: Judges Padilla and Chavez both stay in Northwest, but switch divisions. Judge Bill Brotherton’s calendar will be taken by Judge Michael Kemp.
Southeast: Judge Helene Abrams’ calendar will be taken by Judge John Hannah; Judge Bruce Cohen’s calendar will be taken by Judge Ben Norris.
Northeast: Judge Alfred Fenzel’s calendar will be taken by Judge Brian Hauser. While Judge Hilliard is retiring at some point, her division will remain assigned to Family Court and her newly-appointed replacement will take over her family court calendar.
