AFCC publishes Guidelines for Court-Involved Therapy

AFCC has published its Guidelines for Court-Involved Therapy, after extensive work by the task force on that subject. The guidelines are for court-involved, court-ordered, and court-appointed therapists, and include the areas of informed consent, confidentiality, multiple relationships, fee arrangements, methods and procedures, documentation, and communication among professionals.    The Guidelines were approved by the AFCC Board of Directors at its October, 2010 meeting in Cambridge.    The Guidelines can be found at Guidelines for Court Involved Therapy
