Parenting classes for high-conflict cases are offered by the FCE group, titled Co-Parenting With Boundarites. Classes are being formed now and will begin in December. The classes will focus on awareness of co-parenting behaviors, consequences of those behaviors, creation of an individual plan for each parent to address personal co-parenting behavior, and recommendations for continued treatment, if necessary.
These classes could be valuable in helping parents avoid the high costs of protracted litigation, overuse of Parenting Coordination services, and most importantly, the stress imposed on the children in any high conflict situation.
